Perkins Road X-Treme Park Under Construction

Crews from California Skateparks are busy building the skate park located at Perkins Road Park in Baton Rouge, LA. SITE Design Group, Inc. was hired to re-work the Master Plan, create construction documents and perform construction administration for an extreme sports park. The Plan calls for a centralized X-Treme sports center building and plaza that functions as the center of the extreme sports programming. Here the community playground, rock climbing wall, concessions, restrooms and office will be located. Also included is a proposed coffee shop or internet cafe’. Adjacent to the X-Treme sports center building will be the skate park and BMX area with two dirt tracks for ABA racing.
