Description
SITE Design Group, Inc. teamed up with a local landscape architecture firm for the design of Rail Bender BMX/Skate Park. This park stretches over 33,000 sq ft and includes a flow bowl, street plaza and a small peanut bowl for the beginners. The flow bowl consists of a spine, roll-overs, and hips that circulate throughout the entire course. Integral color concrete can be found in the street plaza along with stairs, handrails, ledges, manual pads, and a volcano. A “skateable” art piece was also designed at the entry point of the skate park that is in the shape of the Colorado Rockies and also has the state flag etched in.
