Goodyear - Goodyear Skate Park
For the Goodyear Project, the Prime Consultant, Moore Swick Partnership selected SITE Design Group, Inc. as their skate park sub-consultant to design the City of Goodyear’s first large skate park facility. The design includes a full pipe-capsule, a 280 ft long snake run with multiple hips and extensions, an 11’ deep peanut bowl with traditonal pool tile and coping and a large street/flow course with a pyramid, rollers, bank to block and hubba ledges. The course accomodates all levels of riding from beginner to pro-level and will accomodate both skateboarders and BMX riders. SITE performed in-depth construction observation services and attended weekly site meetings while overseeing every key aspect of construction, including but not limited to staking and layout, rough and fine excavation, rebar layout, shaping review, forms review, coping review, shotcrete review, flatwork review, substantial completion review and final project close-out.
