Des Moine - Four Mile Park
SITE Design Group, Inc. worked with the City of Des Moines, IA to develop their first neighborhood skate park. Located behind the Four Mile Community Center allows the youth of Des Moines to skate after school while visiting. A number of design workshops were conducted to make sure that the local skating community got exactly what they wanted in the small amount of space that was provided. An existing balcony provides a great spectator viewing area.
